About

NPR Music's Tiny Desk concert series has transitioned to Tiny Desk (home) concerts, showcasing performances from various locations worldwide. In a recent installment, the band Muzz, known for their fuzzy and thoughtful songs, reunited at Reade's Old Kingston Theater in New York's Hudson Valley after seven months apart. Although the setting was intimate, the concert maintained its stripped-down charm, albeit with added masks and physical distancing.

Muzz, led by Mustafa Alobaidi (stage name Muzz), is an English drum and bass producer and DJ. A seasoned artist, Muzz garnered attention with his 2010 release "X No Way Out" on UKF and has since continued to produce music predominantly on Monstercat while collaborating with labels like UKF Music and Liquicity.

The concert highlighted Muzz's unique musical style, featuring memorable performances of their signature fuzzy, introspective tracks. Despite the absence of physical embraces, the joy of reuniting and creating music together was palpable during the performance.
