Ambré, also known as India Ambré Perkins, has an impressive musical background with multiple projects and collaborations under her belt. Her debut major label EP, "Pulp," released in 2019, received recognition for her collaboration with Kehlani on a cover of Drake's "Preach" in 2015. Additionally, she co-wrote tracks for H.E.R.'s Grammy-nominated 2017 self-titled album, showcasing her songwriting prowess.

The Tiny Desk concert not only featured Ambré's soulful vocals and engaging stage presence but also served as a platform to showcase Black artists in a unique and intimate setting. This performance exemplified the essence of Black music and the diverse talents that continue to shape the music industry today.
