The artist, Rebbeca Marie Gomez, known professionally as Becky G, first gained recognition for her cover songs on YouTube before catching the attention of producer Dr. Luke and signing with Kemosabe Records. Throughout her career, Becky G has collaborated with notable artists like will.i.am, Cody Simpson, and Cher Lloyd.

Her debut single, "Becky from the Block," was followed by the 2014 hit "Can't Get Enough" featuring Pitbull, and the chart-topping "Shower" in 2014 which earned double platinum certification. Becky G's albums have consistently peaked on the Billboard charts, with her second studio album "Esquemas" debuting at number one on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart.
