Renowned trombonist Ryan Keberle recently graced the NPR Music Tiny Desk concert series, showcasing his quartet Catharsis alongside guitarist and vocalist Camila Meza. Keberle, a versatile musician who has collaborated with artists spanning from David Bowie to Alicia Keys, brings a fresh approach to jazz with his band's melodic through-lines and swinging undertow. The performance featured tracks from their latest album, Into The Zone, highlighting Keberle's improvisational skills and the band's seamless musical interplay. With a diverse background in music ranging from Broadway pits to Grammy Award-winning records, Keberle continues to push the boundaries of jazz as both a performer and educator at Hunter College.
