Canadian singer-songwriter AHI recently delivered a captivating Tiny Desk concert that showcased his soulful and honest musical style. AHI, born Ahkinoah Habah Izarh, garnered attention with his gruff yet sweet voice and heartfelt lyrics that stood out amidst a sea of submissions. Hailing from Brampton, Ontario, AHI released his debut album "We Made It Through the Wreckage" in 2016, followed by his critically acclaimed albums "In Our Time" in 2018 and "Prospect" in 2021. His talent has been recognized with two Juno Award nominations for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year, as well as winning the Canadian Songwriting Competition in the folk category and the Stingray Rising Star Award at the Folk Music Ontario conference.
