Born in Kansas City, Missouri, on July 29, 1980, Richardson is an accomplished alto saxophonist, composer, bandleader, and producer. He made his mark as a bandleader with his 2007 album Cerebral Flow and is a member of the band NEXT Collective. In 2015, he garnered attention with his major label debut SHIFT on Blue Note Records, featuring collaborations with renowned artists like Pat Metheny and Jason Moran.
